Main projects

• Genotypic and phenotypic characterization of isolated Hypertyrotropinemia.
• Study of the metabolic alterations and risk of Cardiovascular Disease associated with Hypothyroidism, and especially Subclinical Hypothyroidism: implication of oxidative stress and low-grade inflammation.
• Study of the molecular aspects of thyroid disease, using tools based on genomics and transcriptomics. Next-Generation Sequencing  (NGS). Bioinformatics.
