Licenciado y Doctor en Ciencias Biológicas.

El Dr Raffo se encarga actualmente de coordinar las áreas de cultivo celular del CEDIE, siendo responsable de definir las normas del correcto uso de las mismas así como también de su mantenimiento. Además es responsable de diseñar y mantener las bases de datos y/o biobancos de diferentes proyectos de Investigación que se desarrollan en el CEDIE y en la Unidad de Investigación Traslacional del Hospital de Niños Dr. Ricardo Gutiérrez.

Diego Raffo is responsible for the coordination of the cell culture areas of the institute, being responsible for the design and implementation of the standard operating procedures and maintenance of the different areas. Additionally, Dr. Raffo is responsible for the design and update of several databases and biobanks of different research projects that are being carried out at the CEDIE and at the Translational Research Unit of the "Hospital de Niños Dr. Ricardo Gutiérrez".
